Both the SEW-OGBL and the CNEL (Conférence Nationale des Élèves du Luxembourg) student organisation told the Luxembourg Times that staff shortages are having a big impact on teacher-student relations in Luxembourg schools.

“At times that leads to some teachers taking classes that they only studied briefly or substituting colleagues in classes that they have really no notion of and can’t teach to students,” said Luca Roettgers, president of the CNEL.
